Proper restorations aren't cheap..That car cost a packet but the pleasure was in delivering a vehicle to the highest standard I could achieve.. If it goes to somebody that can afford it and can enjoy it, then I would be fine with that..
If not, it can stay in the warehouse where (unfortunately) it won't be driven much at all.. My son who I built the car for has moved onto other interests and is happy in a golf.. I have moved on as well and am now actively into sourcing and restoring a 60's muscle car that has always been an ambition of mine..
The car is every bit as I have described it on ebay and more.. It will be sad to see it go but not if it appears in the odd show here and there, where I can still get to see it with others and enjoy it..
