What mechanic is going to narrow a beam for you?

Contact LJ He's in Sydney but can get one up to you
These are all brand new not some chopped up fatigued 50 year old front end 😉
Cheers

eh?? I had several quotes from 'mechanics' who would cut and narrow my front beam Jase - in QLD at least. They all wanted too much moola though!

And why buy new and spend big $$ ??

Yeppo I recommend you contact Dirtbag and see if he'll do it for you, will save you loads and will be a good job.

At the end of the day it's your call though as you have to drive it!

So what do you consider to be "big dollars" Because I think you'd struggle to go and buy all the gear get it welded (whick I'm assuming shane can't as he's asking for some help here no disrespect meant Shane) and get it all back together for the complete new price. What if your beams had a nudge as its a good chance it has after 50 odd years.
Just trying to make it as painless as possible for Shane

Have you ever stripped down and cut a Beam Nickster its a dirty prick of a job I wouldn't even bother for the dollars of a new one

I'm getting mine done for less than $500, but this involves some manual work by me to remove and refit the beam. How much is the new kit you mention?

Don't get me wrong I agree that new will probably buy you a stronger beam than the one on the car right now, but some of us want it but can't afford it, that's all. I'm just pointing out there are choices. It's up to Shane to make his own choice, he's only seeking advice on here.

I'll go back into my cave now.

Yeppo, if you want a beam narrowed (do I assume adjusters as well??) I can help you out if you're still interested. Call me on 0423 818180 or just PM me and we can sort something out.
