Hi
New to the site and wondered if I can change the password so i can remember it and can't figure out how to do it. Not always on the same computer so hoping I am just being dumb.
thanks
Paul

Welcome and sweet ride. What is that horn called, I have been looking for one but for the life of me don't know what they are called or what they are from.
Nice ride horty 2!
Correct me if I'm wrong but, I think those horns are called 'Fanfare Horns' by Bosch??? I've always wanted a pair of those. Look great 👍
If it's not in a Vee Dub I'm not going!

Hi they are Fiamm horns - similar to the Bosch style ones though.

very nice car Horty - are those porsche 356 headlight grills?
1962 Deluxe Beetle
1970 Low Light Microbus

Cheers Nickster
Yes they are - be warned though for any one wanting to fit a set they are not a straight bolt on and need some carefull modifacation and a steady hand with an angle grinder!
quite scary to do when you have just paid over $200 for then
🤪
so by cutting them like that they're simply secured to the headlight at the bottom?
I'd love a pair of them for my '62 but seeing your pic's is making me reconsider.. I'm not known for a steady cutting hand!!
1962 Deluxe Beetle
1970 Low Light Microbus
Yes they are secured at the bottom - I had to get some alloy tubing as a spacer also to lift it a little way up from the fixing but it pushes nice and firm against the lens now for a good fit.
It's hard to hold it in the it in vice without also as only two small tabs to grip on the grill.
Take it slow and steady and will be OK ;-)
From one Paul to another, welcome mate!
What an awesome looking bug.....any more pics of it?? I'm sure I'm not the only one who would like to see more of your gem!
All the best,
Scarab (aka: Paul)
cheers paul!
I have loads of photos that I have taken as I have added the accessories (i won't bore you with all though!)😂
steels on for the winter and gets extra tuckage in the deal
fender skirts but only trial fitted
original paint - maybe not so unusual in Aus but in UK this is rare!
thanks
Paul
