Has anyone on here replaced the headlining in a late convertible? I have the new lining but no instructions. The roof is off the car and is on my patio and the car is at a panel shop. I'm hoping that I don't have to remove the outer (waterproof) covering to do this and I suspect the roof may need to be re-attached to do it accurately. The rear window has also been removed. Any help and advice would be very welcome

I have read how they do it but not done it for a 72. It was liner first, then padding and webbing followed by the outer cover. I am not sure if it has to be that way or if you can take it out from the inside and re-do it that way.
