carbys tech advice opinion

Hi this is my first time on here so I hope Ive got the correct page

I have a custom built Vw powered trike, it has a recon 1600 twin port late model motor, Is has had differeent carbys at times on it, what is the right carby for it, it only has a single carby I believe they only had one fitted, it got a solex28pict at present but carby is buggered have to get a new one, id like to get the correct one, can anyone help me, not many vw shops in Tas

If its dual port it should have a solex 34 pict 3.

or a 30 pict 2 as some people dont like the 34 as it can be a pain to tune
