Hi Guys,

I've just bought a Fuel Injection 1.6cc engine, the engine code is ACD. Can anyone give me more info about these engines or sites where i can go to? TQ

where did you source a FI motor from?

Oh sorry, im not located in Aussie land, im based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. My younger brother lives in Sydney though.

We do occasionally get parts & engines being brought in by chop shops, usually they come from Japan. I'm currently using an AS code engine (carb), have just bought this ACD code & am thinking of switching to FI.

Try here http://www.1600i.de/e_1600i.html they mention the ACD motors. Appears to be a mexican FI motor not the US or German FI motor. Does it have an oil filter(Hydraulic Lifters)?

so which system is it?

the newer mexi digifant system or the old L-jet setup that 70s US bugs had?
most of them have been chucked out now, there to hard to get parts for

Hi guys, I bought / sourced the engine in kuala lumpur from a chop shop, it came from japan.

And it's the newer mexi digifant system. The older L-jet system motors are easier to source here.
