Yes there was a still shot from that clip in a full-page ad in the glossy section of Sunday's Daily Tele. It looks like it was filmed in Adelaide - all the cars have SA number plates and the street has lots of heritage builldings.

I like the way AAMI uses VWs in a (mostly) good way in their ads. The last series uses that red VW Golf with the black bra that attracts all the swans. Although the follow-up has the dog pissing on its front wheel.

Hi it was pretty sad that the the guy was still holding the stop sign in front of the kombi, should have offered some first aid to the girls.
Wonder how much AAMI will insure and charge me to insure my Kombi.
A wave a day keeps the doctor away especially in a VW 😎:

That advert makes me mad. Why?

Safe Driver Discount? Otherwise known as a No Claims Bonus.

What a crock! 😂

Try Shannons or if in NSW try NRMA classic & Vintage Insurance.
Phone either for a quote...

[NRMA classic is different to ordinary NRMA]

Real insurance does that with all its insurances...

Home- Contents- cars etc...

another one lets You pay for how far You drive... lol
I emailed them and was told that the standard kilometers driven from MY postcode was too many for this insurance...

so, they go on your Postcode.. NOT who You are etc...
or what you drive....

LEE

PS" Yes Dylan.... all they want iS OUR money.... lol
and there is no such thing as a free windscreen a year..
You Pay for this in the premium....

Yeah , Im thinking insurance is a bad disision because there going to find every possible reason not to pay you anyway so if theres a crash or something needs repair ill do it and not get them involved. From Dylan

A *good* insurer will always pauy out if you are straight with them, declare any mods up front etc. It's only when they suspect fraud you may have troubles with a reputable insurer.

I've claimed twice from Shannons and twice from RACV in my lifetime. No hassles at all from either of them. Not the cheapest options, but you get what you pay for.

A mate went with "budget direct" for his bog stock but very clean, low km VK dunnydore. They wanted a mechanics report and service history before they would insure it for agreed value. When it was stolen almost a year later and never recovered, they tried to wheedle out it with lower offers. 😬

They are a business. Of course the insurance company wants your money. If they werent going to make a profit out of the insurance, why would they bother?

I've had someone attempt to steal my lancer 3 times. once iwth nrma twice with Vero. Didnt have any hassles with any of the claims. (Almost) no questions asked. Make sure you get third party dylan. You dont want to break a headlight or bumper on any new car you're gonna be up for a lot more than your premium
