i hope for yoursake your 58 is a kombi and not a bug
if its a bug u will need to separate the left and right brakes just so u can skid steer like a tractor
a v6 holden lump in a bug you'll need to grab first gear steer it around a corner

volks conversion does an adapter kit for them... dont know why your getting poo pooed so intensely... each to their own i say
