dismantaling a type 2 gearbox

Hi can anyone tell me how to dismantal a type 2 gear box I managed after 2 days to get it apart somehow ?????? but it wasnt very easy now I have no-idea of how to get it back together !. any help will be appreciated. Thanks Daniel.

Just take photo's as you pull it apart and that will help putting it together. As long as all of the bolts are in correctly and any shims, bearings and circlips are in correct place, then it will be easy.

By the sounds of things, you have it apart already.
The best workshop manual is a good start, and I find the bentley ones the best.
they are not cheap but neither is gearbox work.
Most local libraries have bently manuals you can peruse or borrow.

What syptom required the disassembly in the first place.
Perhaps I can point you in the right direction to find some faults.
