Are these Empi carbs any good, the price is certainly good. If they arent any good, who makes a new one that is good.

abot 1 percent of EMPI products are good after all they come ina good cardboard box

Not used one of these, always used the Solex by Brosol as a new replacement carb with always good results. I have seen problems with a set of Empi HPMX's but others like 'em. How cheap?

Last One I sold was $290, most VW shops should be able to help.
I can check a price for you if you want, but you may have someone closer.

Matt, do you know the name of any shop that has one in stock. $290 IS OK IF ITS BETTER THAN THE EMPI

Mate, I don't know what other shops sell them for, try George (he prolly had the Empi) I buy from wholesalers and can only offer a price once I check. You could try VVDS or CBB
