Does anyone know the part number for the H4 Hella Headlights and buckets that we can use to replace the originals.

What model bug?

The buckets shown are normally the US models that take a sealed beam light as opposed to the light bulb in the reflector for the pre-1968 models. You'd have to get a good second-hand light assembly that has the plastic bucket intact.
If it ain't broke, fix it till it is!

VWs in the USA always had sealed beams...

early or late.. its the Law over there -
also their lights are LHD..

so they are incorrect for Our side of the road... illegal..

You can modify the standard Hella semi sealed beams sold anywhere...

to fit the buckets from early holden or Fords..

You need to make the buckets fit the headlamp Rim screws.. which i always do... modifications..

or You can simply screw the buckets to the two brackets in the late 68> VW headlamp mudguard bucket...

the two brackets are usually there to mount sealed beams for the USA...

and then use the late model beetle or kombi plastic chromed rings.. with only one mounting hole...

cheers

or You can use the 1975-76 bosch headlamps used in beetles..
they come with the bucket to screw directly to the two brackets...
