Just to set the record straight I don't plan on blowing up this engine, actually i've never blown up a whole engine so the car can't be driven ever!and i've had a lot of hot engines. I've blown up 1 cylinder on my old 1600 and even then i just pulled out the 2 push rods and presto still a running engine just a 3cyl one!drove that sucker for a week on the 3 cylinders! If i was to consider "blowing up" an engine i would consider myself a failure if the crankshaft was not on the ground!LIFE IN THE LOW LANE wrote:And nobody will blow it up better than you Col.

I thought i'd blown up two engines but with your way of thinking i've just broken 8 pistons. Which leads me to my new signature.
"Pistons are cheap........fun is priceless"
also did you know you can get SR20 pistons which are 87mm with a 22mm pin.....🤪
