I Thorght it was a twin to but not as good as the Origonal SUBA-BUG , = ]
I think I've reached a happy medium.
stock running boards and taillights have stayed, brazillian mirrors and blacked out trim
Black just seems to contrast better to white than chrome
well atleast i think so
someone has now dubbed it barbie bug cos I'm apperently playing dress up with it 🙄
gotta love an arty farty shot

This is really starting to shit me.
The second one I've hit this year
the other was in the mainstreamer and managed to smash my headlight and blinker.
But the Bug faired up abit better than the jap scrap
bumper took the impact, luckily its a german one so all thats happened is my 3 week old impact rubber on the side has entered orbit somewhere and i have some nice marsupial intestinal splatter up the side and a few scratches which should polish out
I came around the bend about 90km/h and the wallaby was just standing there dumbfoundered as to which direction to head.
the 4 wheel disc brakes did their thing well on a wet road and slowed me down but i still hit it doing about 40km/h
I swear it must have been hitlers bug or something
only car I've ever known to unintentionally hit
2 crows
1 possum
1 goose
and several bunnys
free meal 👍 and it would already be tenderised....
I take it the toyota's didn't take the battle against teh roos to well prior? 😂
and a goose 😂 Well, i'm sorry to hear about the damage mate, particularly when its wet, theres not much u can do to counter manouver.

Oh well, at least your car is okay. And that road doesnt seem like one that 90kms is the legal limti
Frig! stupid animals!
I hit a possum the other night in bellboring.... was coing down the hill in the pitch black no street lights, going about 90.... went stright under the car, but went sky high on the way out...
good that you are ok mate, and minimal damage is a plus. they can be nasty!
I live out in the sticks, the speed limits 100.
I was just taking it easy cos it was wet
Chris the 'yotas didnt actually have a taste for killing, although i did hit a blue and white pidgeon in the AE92 but nah the wallaby i hit back in feb was in my KN laser
poly-carbonate headlights just shatter on impact
Your very lucky , cause it dosent even look like it happened. dads old mustard 73 L Bug had a roo hit before we got it and it damaged the front apron bonnet and put both gaurds out (the right one more than the left) Also your bug is looking realy good , love the new look.
careful, greenpeace will have your head for that 😂
im guessing you have been busy lately, theres not much chatter happening on msn lately, or perhaps thats cos im actually doing things to mine for once haha

Sorry I haven't answered your texts or been on MSN, to say I have alot on my plate at the moment would have to be the understatement of the year
You probabaly saw the tornado that slaughtered Lennox Head this morn, I didn't cop that luckily but the winds from it and flooding have done some damage here
265mm was in my raingauge from overnight
I spent the morning without power, there were trees down everywhere.
Dad tried to drive out here to help but all the roads were cut by floods
We got some small hail this morn and shitloads of wind and rain but I got off lucky, house is still in one piece.
There's so many homes demolished all through Lennox
it's more the entire crop washed away, the shed now full of 2" deep sludge and the mess that both farms are in Ive gotta deal with that sux

WOW.............not good
That Part 2 is heartbreaking
What is the crop??
Macadamia??
Futue te ipsum!!!
was....
I'll have a better look tomorrow once the waters gone down fully but unfortunately this farm has a creek through the middle of it and both side slope down towards it so that much water has carried them all away.
Ive lost about 15 tonnes
All the neighbouring farms are in the situation though
🙁
Futue te ipsum!!!
Far out dude!!
that sucks so hard man 🙁
"ive got waterfront property" classic!
other than that, ouch dude, that looks pretty bad
so... shovels, rakes, gloves & dub meet at joels? (unless its still raining)

count me in if i didn't have exams and 3 inanimate garden ornaments in the front yard. Sorry to hear bruz, I was tripping alone just hearing about the tornado on the news this morning. particularly when Lennox is one of my fav spots, macadamias me fav nut. The agricultural industry is a hard job, paritcularly with mother nature against ya. My grandfather was happy to retire from teh banana plantation at coffs.
Hope things get back on track asap.

Guess I can hijack my own thread
STIDUB wrote:so... shovels, rakes, gloves & dub meet at joels? (unless its still raining)
shovels?
i think an excavator is called for.....
clusters like this all along the creek
along the western boundary all my nuts have gone under the fence into the neighbours place
but there's 5 other maca farms that share my Eastern and southern boundry and they lost theirs onto my place
🤪
I gotta be carefull walking on the debris thats scattered everywhere, I went to step on stick that moved, was actually a red belly black snake.
😂
STIDUB wrote:dub meet at joels?
Lets do this thing!
Man joel! that is some serious damage. it sucks cause they are still green, and being soaked in water must mean you cant use them.....
I hope that the water can be turned into positive in some way, for some people...
