I am new to this forum so bear with me please! I have recently bought a 1975 Beetle which has Golf front seats. I'm looking for original high back seats and would love to hear from you if you have some.

I have a full set of seats from a 73 L Bug if you're interested. They are black and in very good condition, passenger seat has a very minor tear. I'm in Clayton.

Edit: They are the 2 rail mount, not 3 point.

If it is a 75 it will have 3 point seat - not just the 2 runners
You can see the hump in the front in the 2nd picture

If you have this style they are are a bit hard to come by

how similar is the Golf set up to this
as I have 2 compl sets 95 and 98 (maybe that is why they were used on ures) ??

want any vw bits old but like me, Made in Germany!!!

looks similar and knowing vw evolved their designs in most things; also, 75/6 last T1 beetle then 76 first Golf Mk1

want any vw bits old but like me, Made in Germany!!!

Bnicho - thanks for the response. I dont mind what colour the seats are as am happy to get them retrimmed if necessary. The back seat is brown - original colour I think. The Golf seats are in very good condition and I believe they are reasonably new. The seat base is height adjustable and the upholstery is a flecked multicoloured fabric. Will take a photo and post.
