hi all just wondering if anyone is having the same problem we are with these,
they have been on the car for 6 months, it has been undercover the whole time only driven once and they have severe rust coming up from the inside out.
we have cleaned them twice now and it keeps coming back everytime we wash the car dad only cleaned them last week just looked at the car then and they have aot of surface rust on them again.
at $250.00+ the price wasnt cheap but the quality certanly is.

thtas the poor quality of the chrome these days just keep WAX on the surfaces of them may stop it a little bit

Try polishing with kero. I've been using this on my bike for the past 8 yrs due to similar issues, and seems to work pretty good.

yeah like birchall said, poor chrome... we have some good chromers we use so you can re-chrome them, only other alternative is to keep polishing them... i had same issue with my eye lids when i had them... every time i washed the car i rubbed them down with some purple polish... it kept them shinny and a layer of protective film.... purple is pretty expensive and hard to find so a good substitute is autosol.... purple is a little finer though so easier on what little chrome there is on them... cheers adam

Mine didn't go that bad but they are not as "new" looking as when I got them. I only had them on the car for a few months though, since I sold it they have been in a box in the shed.

mine dont rust but the seals have weathered and broken up lucky i found some new seals so if anyone needs new seals let me know
