i just spent half an hour typing out the problems and the computer shit its self so now i am totaly pissed off so with a much shorter version here is my problem...

67 baja with lift kit,irs etc was kindly reversed into and left, quite a bit of damged so i replaced steering box, king and link pins, tir rod ends(just cuz they were gettign tired) had the beam checked and its still straight and true, new tyres on the front(same sizes as before) new steering damper and a wheel alignment.

Everythings all responsive and tight but its suffering from bump steering something rotten! I have been told that a negative camber will help with a lifted car but i honestly dont know

Any ideas? i am at a loose end and i just cant work it out, the car was for sale before all this and i really want to get it back on the market but untill its right i wont.

So any help no matter how daft u mite think it is would be great, i could have overlooked somthing simple or it could just be i need to run an offset camber ... what do u think???

cheers...

steff..................

You don't need to adjust your castor do you?

That can cause the car to wander. Maybe you need to shim the frontend.

How have you checked for bump steer?

The only thing that can alter the geometery for bump steer is the pitman arm height, which will alter with steering box rotation on the beam mounting.

You can change it's position by loosening one clamp bolt and tightening the other.
