Good to hear about another 76, but a shame to hear it will be Baja'ed. I've just started on my 76 rebuild as well. It was going well until I started work on the C-pillar rust........

Hey, tasbaja, if you don't need your bumpers let me know, I'm in need of some for a 76. If you are in Tas, I'll be in Hobart this weekend if that helps. PM sent

Sounds like a deal. Can you get me some dimensions and and a weight so I can see how much it will cost to send up to Sydney. Also your postcode. Will PM you my e-mail address.
Also any chance of a couple of pics? I assume they are the correct 76 bumpers, ie front with cut outs for the indicators.
Cheers

I can only show you the rust at the moment, fix is pending, but I'd say a crash course in welding may be needed.😢

No dramas, if you send me the pics, I'll quickly check them out and then can arrange to send you some cash. I've found a way to get them to Sydney that hopefully won't cost me a pound of flesh. Meanwhile will be happy to share the experiences of doing a 76 Beetle!
