Anyone here have a late-ish Golf that they change the rear pads on?
Apparently need a special piston resetting tool with a twist and press action..

Anyone have one I could borrow for an hour?? 😍

Cheers,
Steve

Ring Ron at C&S Autos at Padstow - Lanock Motors-trained watercooled VW specialist - 9774 3340.

Not sure if he'd lend you tools but he might have some ideas for you. Otherwise he'll fix your late Golf/Caddy for you.

Check out your local tool shop or auto parts shop they may have a tool that looks like a block, with all different combinations on each side, this will go on a 1/2 inch ratchet, use some elbow grease and wind them back in! its not hard once you get it started. there are other more expensive tools on the market, but if your gonna buy one of those you might as well pay a mechanic to do it!

Cheers, guys.

Brendon, I did see that tool you mentioned at the local Auto One. I'll go grab it...
Thanks again.
