Hi everyone. I'm after quite a few parts to get my pink bug on the road. I'm after sidesteps, rear badges, window visors, front and rear bumpers, seatbelts, and if possible an original steering wheel. I'm happy to pay postage from anywhere but I'm currently located in tasmania.
Thanks
Shardai

I can' believe how easy that was for a response. I've been looking for these parts for ages everywhere.
Would you mind putting up some pics for me and some prices?

I don't think Lee was stating that he had them just that you need to let us know what condition you want them in, but then I may be wrong. I have some running boards from a 74 but not sure if they will fit, they are in average to good condition $50 the pair plus post.

Oh... ok. Well this isn't going to be a show car so I'm happy if the condition isn't perfect. Obviously the seatbelts need to be in good conditino though. I will find out if the running boards will fit cause I will by them if they do.

Best to get your seatbelts from someone like Repco. That way you know they are in good condition.

Have you tried Classic VW or Vintage VW (both in NSW) for parts?? There are more suppliers if you try an internet search.

Best of luck.

Hey Brett I thought we had a deal on those bumpers that we negotiated weeks ago. I was just waiting for you to pull them off. What's going on? You should have a few PMs from me.

Also bumpers for a 76 and 69 are different.

Hi Brett,
did you happen to get my PM.
Very keen to get these parts so I can complete my car. I have a front bumper that I can have re-chromed anyways and the back has a little dent that I could probable deal with. Let me know how u are going.

Pictures look good. Would like to organise a time to come up maybe not this week but the next? Running boards look good. Shame the bumpers are taken though. I'm not sure what parts you need but interested in taking a heap of parts of your hands.
