werl, 50s busses seem to be very popular at the mo, like ovals. You are lucky to get anything rusted out or not for under 3k. A 50's 11 window recently went on ebay for 2.5k+ and it was literally falling apart with metal cancer and the pass side door pillars were stoved in. Utes are even more sought after and this one looks the goods, so I can understand the price... even if I think it's ridiculous.

It's interesting to see what some vehicles are going for in countries outside the USA.

22k seems to be way out of line (currency conversion taken into consideration) for that vehicle. Some of the mods that have been done would actually drop the value here in the States.

So, I'm interested, would most of you down under consider this to be reasonably priced?

thats why theres so much of it going on, people can make a huge profit buying cheap in the US and selling big over here cos people here are stupid enough to pay that much

I know the seller, and they bring a few over regularly.

US busses are generally cheap compared to AUS busses. Over there you can get a cheap splitty that is road going that with the same money would only get you a paddock find that needs $$$ to restore. Considering importing one costs around 3500 to 4000 approx some people are trying to cash in.
That splitty ute has been for sale for awhile started at $25k now at $22 just recently dropped but still dreaming in my opinion, but then again an item is only worth what people are prepared to pay for it.

Hi Mike,
No, that is way too much money.. IMHO...
remembering that the Aust $ = 92 US Cents..

its one very expensive single cab pick up..

if it was $5000.. that would sell rather quickly... lol

I doubt if it could be insured for that amount of money.. ??

I agree. Might be cheaper than over here, but whats a good conversion cost ???

Having said that, if someone wants to pay that amount, then more power to the seller.
