Hi All,

Any tips on putting these buggers in? I faffed around with them today, made sure they were on the right sides and all, but I couldn't get them to seat properly in the channels.

It has been over a year since I pulled the quarter windows out and I can't remember if they had to go in before the main window or if id didn't matter.

Any advice?

cheers

Just did mine, yes they are a bit tricky,I had to cut the slot out were the hinge goes thru, and the slot on the bottom were the latch goes thru, you can see were to cut as the moulding has a thin bit left in it, you then need to feed the hindge thru the hole and attach that to the door frame. I found it easier to sart at the bottom near the side window front slid and work towards the front. I also found it easier to work from inside the car pushing the outer rib on the rubber into the channel in the window fame and GENTLY using a flat bladed screw driver to push the inner rib into the channel, after doing about 50mm you need to thump down on it to make it sit in the channel, the radius bit is the hardest but it will go, as you get to the end it still looks like it is to long but it does go, you need to keep thumping it in so it sits right inside the channel, once you get the hang of it its easy
