I want to convert my front drums to disc on my 67 bug but all the kits I see covert the stud pattern to 4 stud. Is there a way, or kit to leave the stud pattern as original? If so where do I get such a kit?

Just been looking down that path. Vintage does a kit - not sure about how long the discs would last? talk to Boris.

CPS kit looks good, but VERY expensive.

After some research, I've decided to go for 356 Porsche drum brakes.🙄 They are lighter, are wide 5, and bolt straight on. Besides, I like drums! 👍
I'd rather wear a Beetle out by racing it than by polishing it!

I was talking to Mike Custom bugs and buses about converting to disc at the front and making them wide 5 pattern. And a couple of weeks later he has made a kit. Looks pretty good and cost just over $1000. Would love the kit but just don't have the money atm.
