All old-ish school from when I had a 15 Inch MTX thundercast driven by an Alpine Amp in my 76 Golf and 72 Beetle
The 15" sub went so much better in the beetle as I am guessing the curved shape of the cabin must have matched the size of the bass wave, amplifiying it even more.

Maximum Bass 3 is worth a listen too, havent tried it with sub yet, but has some great songs on there

Currently mine is Fugue State by Nero.
And of course, Crush on You by Nero as well.
Anything from Nero, with a decent sound system, will blow your ears to hell.
My sub is only at half gain and it definitely pumps Nero.
