Can't say I've ever seen those..

as in beetles the hole was the small size...
the early ones had plastic screws in the holes...

Volksbahn Autos in Sydney used to make these adaptor nuts to accomdate later seat belt bolts in early German mounting holes.

Hi

A guy was selling them on eBay not long ago, there was a post on here about the eBay sale. I think that I have one floating around.

Looks like they would be relatively easy to make if you get stuck, get the correct size hex head bolt, cut to length, drill and tap the center.

I've got a couple of them, if you would like to pick them up in Bowral (NSW).😂 Seriously, if nothing else works, give me your address, and I can post them.

Cheers, Greg
I'd rather wear a Beetle out by racing it than by polishing it!
