Does anyone have (or know of where i can get) some """Decent""" rear shocks for a bay window kombi ???

I have just bought a brand new pair of "heavy Duty" items but they`re just don`t cut it (for my Cumbi anyways)

Mine is a little jacked up (not much at all, maybe just a tad) but the spring pressure certainly outweighs the rebound on the shocks i`ve just bought

sooooooo,,,, maybe a pair of adjustable off-road type shocks is what i`ll need ???

i`m going to sort through a pile of shocky cattledogs but thought i`d whack this topic up here first , because i`m pretty sure there`s a pile of you guys who`d already know what`s best & maybe point me in the right direction before i spend 3 days checking out dumb-arsed shock suppliers who have absolutely no idea & try to just sell me "something"

Sooo,,,, what`s the go?,,, who`s best to speak to?.,,, Rancho?,,, Bilstien?... Mega-phat Robby Gordon by-pass things???

Adjustable off-road types of things are probably what i`m going to need to control rebound for the amount of spring i have

While were at it , some fronts would be cool too

Now,,, That said---> Is Anyone keen on a brand new set of "Heavy duty" bay window kombi rear shocks,,, done maybe 50miles ????????

i paid $156 for them 2 days ago, so i`ll let you have them both for $100 (for the pair) seeing it`s Christmas & all :-)

cheers
Matt

PS: & yes before anyone asks me,,, The gearbox is doing fine, Dangerous Dave sorted it out months ago & it`s all going quite well so far ---> & yes i`ve punished & punished it trying to bust it`s arse out but it`s handling things very well indeed ... ( i wish i could say the same for the CV boots & clutch cables tho)

& yes obviously Now that i`ve said the box is fine that surely Murphy has something in store for me shortly i`m sure :-)

Merry Christmas to you all

Matt you will need some 4wd shocks for the rear with an extended length of approx 610mm for memeory , Rancho RS5000's have a good rebound speed and are available from Redlands 4WD Centre on Redland Bay Rd Capalaba
Don't let body work get in the way of real suspension travel
