thanks sides :P

dylan you can get stuff from the guy but its not the easiest thing to do, took me a year of chasing leads to get the mirrors from him, funny how they arent in that pic, most others of the car have them, anyway that would cost a fair bit in postage & would be fun to make fit your stock or widened one way or another guards, from other pics its made to go with his guards & the underbody diffuser panel...

if you dont mind the idea of being itchy from fiberglas work id suggest making one to suit your car specifically may be easier, similar to the guy with the commodore front bar in rocky? or the old volksconversions kits could be used then modified to your taste/similar to jeffreys 🙂
-IF you like ill ask the guy in japan who i got my mirrors through to find out how much one would cost & how much shipping would hurt but it wouldnt be a fast response by any means. throwing some CF running boards into the same package wouldnt be too hard with the similar dimensions too haha

vlad, can you read japanese? its not too useless compared to other vw parts websites 😂

Thanks STIDUB
If you could find out a bit of info that would be great. With my bug I want it to be a German look with a jap racer look as well. I do have a old Carreras kit bumper from Volks conversions it needs repair but Idn if I could get it looking like jefferys. I do want CF running boards and CF head light rims. STI dub you steve Carter and Joel are a few of the guys on here that are on the same wave lenth as me in what I want to do. Basically in my signature is what it's going to look like ruffly but details are a surprise for now.

I meant useless as it doesn't load properly and the layout is just awful 🙅 Makes me angry just looking at it.

Word on GL is they're not cheap.
By the time you bought one and had it sent here a fibreglasser could make a pretty good copy for about the same cost or Like barls said fibrefabs ones were pretty close, just have it modified abit

car forums. where a lot of peoples good intentions end up taking a good old car off the road forever never ever to see the road again. 🥲

Hi Dylan
having that bumper on the front of Your beetle means You will NOT be able to lower Your car... so the top of the tyres will be under the mudguards..
My beetle is lowered now about 2 inches approx... it was until recently about 4 inches approx... at the front.. and the rear is stock.... was going to lower the rear slightly...
but then My muffler would hit the ground more often...
I also have a CB Performance extra sump which sits below the engine....
if You are only going to drive on flat roads with no driveways or dips or gutters or speed bumps etc...
then lowering is OK....
remembering that You will have to go to a service station at some time..... and KFC and Maccas wouldn't be possible.... they look cool....
but impossible to drive on ordinary roads....
I lowered My front the way I wanted it and every time I turned and hit a bump the tyre hit the edge of the front mudguards....
first time I drove My beetle to a car show on the highway every bump I could smell burning rubber....
wore grooves in two tyres...

cheers

You just have to drive accordingly.

My spoiler is only 45mm off the road and I rarely hit anything with it.
Years of driving lowered cars you soon master the art of correct approach angles

there are people out there with cars alot lower than what mine is

Hey Lee, how many car shows are on the highway? 🤪
I dream of a day when a chicken can cross a road without being asked for it's motive!

My Wife has a Suzuki Swift

and the first time it was driven over our NOrmal driveway gutter

it ripped half the rubber spoiler under the front off...

I took it off.... and the front still touches every time its driven in over the gutter...
angle must just be incorrect for the car...

I also drive it over the gutter to park under the trees at the front of the house I just have a piece of wood in the gutter...
without any problems...

LEE

The Lancers I had , had a tow hook in the centre under the front and rear and both saved the car from damage...
as they bottomed out at either end frequently...
maybe wheelie bars are needed with new cars.... : Lee
