Then again I have never had a house or car with air conditioning, so I don't have a full understanding of what I am commenting on.
I've always had a car with air con since having a 1982 L300 with air con....

Would love to have it in My beetle....

have a compressor plus an under dash unit... so far... lol

House has been ducted air conned for about 15 years before that had single air con units...

Cheers, Greg
I'd rather wear a Beetle out by racing it than by polishing it!

Aircon is appropriate technology, a bit like the internal combustion engine, hot water heaters, internet...........

Save the planet, walk, don't drive.
I was once told by a bio dynamic farmer, when I was complaining of the state of the world(70's), to clean up my own back yard first.

Try a 3 cylinder 550cc Suzuki, you had to turn it off to get moving downhill.

I wasn't bemoaning his driving, it was that fact he wanted to add a fridge to it. Typical wacked out greenie with halfed baked ideas. Name one solar industry doesn't feed off rebates. Was that the same farmer who ringed barked all the trees and then complains about salinity problems or the farmer that now wants a carbon credit for all the trees he didn't get round to ring barking.🙅
