This next group of vids, is with thanks, from Tini, Greg,s fiancee.
Greg tells me she has never filmed before but you be the judge because i think they are excellent.
This one shows the run up to the hairpin inc the chicane were i get a little loose, i,m in 4th gear with approx 6000rpm, so it got my attention.
Plenty more vids to come.

colin wrote:The intrepid Beetle racers headed to Cooperabung Hillclimb last Sunday to compete in round 6 of the NSW Hillclimb Championships.
The usual suspects were all there including Christine Campbell sporting her new pink highlighted race suit.
Cooperabung is a very fast and treacherous event with many surface variations with a dry, damp, and wet sections of the track.
As usual the hairpin and braking area before the hairpin being the most dangerous, i was approaching the hairpin in 4th gear at 6000rpm, quiet fast!.
All day Heath, Christine, myself and a Datto driver swapped fastest times. It was a real armwrestle all day but in the end Heath won the day.

Heath 1st in class, 30.256sec
Adrian (Datto) 2nd in class, 30.893sec
Christine 3rd in class, 30.987sec
Col 4th in class, 31.116sec
Glenn 5th in class, 34.448sec

In the Sports Sedan class 1601-2000cc Greg Ward smashed his rivals and carved over 5sec of the old record to win his class in a time of 31.006sec.

I can,t begin to tell you how much fun it was racing with and against the fellow Beetle racers this last weekend, we all had a fantastic day racing and encouraging each other to go faster all day. Christine was at her shit stirring best all day and after 3 runs i thought i had bested her. But no she pulled a blinder in the last run and beat me, well done Chrissy.
Next round is at Ringwood near Newcastle at the end of the month.

Cheers Col.
THAT is top work from Glenn...well done for a good budget car😎

Okay, so this footage is incar.
Points to take note,
Notice the glare from the sun on the track, it made it hard to spot your braking mark on the approach to the hairpin.
The wheel work at the hairpin from Greg, nice work mate.
The shift light, he had it set at 9000rpm, awesome!.

Here is another vid of incar with Greg.
In this vid he has a little moment exiting the sweeper, were the road camber changes, but catches it beuatifully,
This is the last of the vids i have, i hope you all enjoyed watching as much as Heath, Christine, Greg, Glenn and myself enjoyed racing at Cooperabung Hillclimb.

Cheers Col
