Looks terrific. Will be so much fun to fix/clean up when it's in that sort of condition.

Great stuff Dion.
Not much luck in it folks - takes effort and persistence to find such treasures, including this one which Dion tells me was 10 hours drive from the closest semi-major centre (much more from capital city).
Congrats mate, you deserve such a find.
PS ute bumper arrived from the US at my workshop today.

Does it have an engine? Bits of the engine bay I could see in the photos looked like it didn't have one installed anyway.

Al, the bumper will suit this bus to a tee, so ill have to get up there when you have sorted out all the stuff.
an no engine guys, i have located a engine (40hp 6v) but its from a 62.
i need case numbers in between, 5 157 563 to 5 223 966 to make it close to matching and the engine i have is a 7 not a 5, only a small detail, but i want it as close as possible.

There's a joke there somewhere.😂D-train wrote:only front passenger goes down,
I read it on samba, so it must be correct.
