Well after literaly months of indesision I finaly decided to bite the bullet and install the huge 60mm diam 55w driving lights I got for the wench, then I paid a visit to Scott this morning and he changed my mind (sorta, thanks a lot Scott 🙅) so I have been trawling the RTA site and a few other places to find if there is any regulation regarding the placement of after market lights, not that it realy matters, the whole car is after market almost and I'll probably put them where ever I want to in the end. Only real info I can find is on the RTA site for the standard headlights, 600mm minimum from road to center of light, does anyone here know of any rule pertaining to driving lights?
I dream of a day when a chicken can cross a road without being asked for it's motive!

Hi

The centre line of the driving lights cant be any higher that the stock headlights, so you cant mount them on your roof etc. They must also be symmetrical, one light it must be in the middle, two lights one each side etc.

You should also make sure that your low beams are good as well, there's nothing worse than dipping your lights for on coming traffic and not being able to see anything.
