Its been in a shed since the late 70s. That said its still a bit rough.

Problem is the owner has no idea what year it is. Any estimstes?

guessing it doesn't have an oval rear window.. lol

from 1957 to early 1960..

late 60s had blinkers/indicators..

at a guess 1959... lol
I had a 59 with the flash on the sides...

the flash was red... that one has faded a bit..

Nice red type 3 variant...

could be late 59 from windscreen size n semawhores n later door handle
we had 60 years ago without sema holes n 50/50 tails so similar
front screen too big to be an oval
anymore pics of front n eggspecially rear that will be more identifiable with taillights etc
also pop bonnet n see what date is stamped on the back of the speedo another good clue 😉

It's not an oval, it's got a big windscreen, plus you can see the back window through the side one anyway

Not really, it's just a side effect of someone who has Aspergers Syndrome and a photographic memory.

Hey thanks guys. Sebastien I drive the 3 mainly around semaphore and out north to work as a daily. Would love to get involved in the next VW cruise.

I got sent some more photos. Its a bit rougher than I was hoping. Is it worth $1000? I've got no idea with beetles.

Sorry they're a bit blurry.

Scratch,

Next time I'm heading out Semaphore way I'll keep my eyes peeled.
I live just off of Glynburn Road, everyone can here my bug from a mile away, way too loud!

if its not a dished wheel and not made in Ozz then its a solid German metal car and if Vin nr and eng match as orig these cars are appreiating in value.
