Drove 3 and a bit hours [each way], intending to grab the heads & Berg crank. Got there at 8-30 [early enough, I thought], but was too late.😢
Managed to buy some nice roller-rockers, and other goodies, so the trip was worth it. The 'big' motor can wait a bit longer.
I'd rather wear a Beetle out by racing it than by polishing it!

Thanks to everyone who came. Met lots of nice people and I think almost everyone was a happy buyer! Still lots left - but no perfomance stuff or tools. - stock heads, standard cam, T3 T4 T5 filters - oil,petrol and air, lots of nuts and bolts, 1500 doors, bootsand bonnets, bummpers, whole 80 model kombe minus the motor, super bug smoked tail light lens, t4 steering rack, golf front light, t4 and golf power sterring pumps, belt- timing etc, dorr rubber, disc brakes -golf, tins, old cases and gear boxes.
