FS - QLD 1972 Lowlight Bus Project - $400 for quick sale

Dasdubber · 2012-01-31T23:32:48+00:00

Hi everyone, Unfortunately I have not had the time, space or funds to commit to this late lowlight beauty and hence have decided to bit the bullet and pass it on. I originally bought it from Marcus in Brissy with all intentions of bringing her back to its former glory....but other resto's have got in the way and I don't think I'll have time to do it any time soon....don't want it to deteriorate any further. Here are some pics from Marcus when he took the exterior back to bare metal and sanblasted the door apertures etc. It was given a coat of 1K primer but over time has absorbed some moisture and hence surface rust has appeared - this could easily be buzzed back to bare metal, treated and primed......but if I did this I dare say I wouldn't get my time back in the sale price. I paid $1K for the bus (complete minus engine, gearbox and no rear seats). Location: Burleigh Heads Price: $400 if picked up by sunday 5 feb Contact: Al (0417 645 854), or al@dasrestohaus.com.au Some pics of when I bought it:

Guys, when Al sells something, don't tyrekick, just buy it as it will be a bloody good deal. I know from personal experience. Al is a straight up guy and only sells stuff if its worthy of being sold.
