Time to put this up for sale rego is due april 29th 1971 lowlight dc .
all rust is done and primered no filler has been put back in so you can see it for what it is , check the build thread (dsk) it consumed alot of metal .
Brakes: new mcyl , calipers, discs , slaves linings flex lines , steel lines stops awesome .
suspention : new balljoints tie rods , drag link , steering coupling , creative adj springplates , new shocks , adjusters fitted to beam , centrepin has no play , c'v's new boots n repacked , new bearings in front rear just needed a seal n repacking , rims merc 15's with near new tyres .
gearbox: 2ltr with 1600 bellhousing has a slight whine but nothing major .
interior is older retrimed seats but in decent condition and pretty comfortable has new retractables up front and regoed as 6 seater , all door trims have been replaced with grey laminated ply , hoodlining has a couple of small tears .
Rubbers : new screen front n rear doors have scrapers but not fitted new felts and new flipper qtr windows up front .
Dash resprayed in black gloss with 3 vdo classic white faced gauges fitted in radio hole but sunken in so no metal was cut new glovebox insert , no radio just neat n quiet .
engine: will be a new brazil motor (1600) that i bought in a bus that did hardly any kms once it was fitted ,alternater, dual rebuilt kadrons electronic ignition clear coated rusty tinware which has been clearanced for twin webers , raspy sounding bug exhaust ie noisy.
tray was replaced with a decent late bay one and gates are good but have some rust .
Basically a good solid dc which ive done many a tip run and hauled parts down to parents farm ..drive it scratch it n dont cry . asking 14k but am negotiable Klaus 0428 427 986 (it has a 2110 fitted but i dont want to sell motor) wollongong nsw 2530(dapto)
