With some sadness "Clem" is up for sale. I don't have the available time, money or experience to do this type of restoration, and am sick of seeing him sit there uncovered in my driveway. I am looking to sell him off and buy something (most likely a beetel) a little closer to being on the road.
It is a 1974 Panel van, someone has cut windows into the front of each side, and also crudely cut a walk-through into the bulkhead. As far as rust goes, all I have found so far is the front passenger wheel arch (dog leg), small holes in the passenger floor and one up near the top of the windscreen inside the passenger door. The back rear drivers corner is also rusty, and the battery tray needs replacing as normal.
It has a 1600cc motor in that has never run since I bought it a year ago, turned very freely, and believe this motor was replaced about 4 years ago. Has a manual gear box.
Pop top paint needs refreshing, canvas is in very good condition.
Interior has been removed to start cleaning up interior, including dash, and the gauges have been cleaned up. ALL parts are still present, vehicle is 100% complete, apart from door cards and glove box.
