My uni studies are finally coming to a close and to celebrate I am looking to treat myself to my dream. I need to get involved in the VW world.
If anyone is thinking about offloading a bus (or knows of one being offloaded) for under the $5K mark then I'd be happy to chat about it. I want something that needs work, that's where half the fun of it will be.
Will happily chat about vehicles interstate.

Where are you located?
What are your plans for a bus? Touring?, Show?, 8 seat?, Camper?, Fast?, Good body?, Good mechanical?
I've got home bases in Bendigo and Gippsland. I'm more about the camping side of things than seating heaps of people, and I couldn't care less about going fast.
My mechanical skills far outweigh my body repair skills, so something with a decent body and a shot (or missing) driveline would be ideal.
I'm really quite new to this world so any help/pointers/advice/reality checks will be 100% appreciated
