Hey All, Thought it best to say hello to all on AVD. I'm mostly found on DSK where I have been a member for a few years and have tried to join in where I can as I am still learning as I go. Anyways, this is our ride, nearly finished now, been a long old process but it should be worth the effort once it's done. It's a May 55 single cab, mostly in OG paint, it has been brush painted in parts and the rust repairs that I've had done have been painted to try and make it look old. It has an IRS backend with a dual ignition Pobjoy motor, uprated steering and brakes up front, now has 12V with fuel gauge, temp and oil pressure gauges. OG bench seat and factory safaris.. plan is to get it on the road asap and sort any niggles and then tinker a little with ride height etc .. I have lots of people to thank for their time, patience and help with this project, without a good set of mates I would not have got this far so thank you's to Dion, Flipflop, John, Frog, Rick & Stef, Tim for the panel work ,my mate Steve who has spent so many hours on this, even during the middle of summer in a stinking hot shed, led underneath it painting the POR 15 with me !! Nearlry there boys and girls

Not had a lot of time to get out in the Yoot this week, probably one about 35 miles since roadworthy.

Going to get back under it tomorrow and check everything and then get out around the beaches and for a little blast up the highway. So far it feels good, still taking it easy of course, just bedding in the engine and brakes etc.

Frog came round yesterday aft and we took it for a quick spin ( you should see our drive ha ha ) let Mike have a run round and he never stopped smiling..

Wil be good to get out tomorrow and just get some more mies on it before Sunday..

thats a very kind offer but I'm afraid I won't have time tomorrow after tinkering in the morning I am watching our youngest play football against buderim, should be a good game as Buderim are top and Caloundra 2nd.

I think I'm hooking up with John in the week and looking to go for a cruise around, if his panel is done we make work our way up to Cooroy and pay a visit.
