Ok I'm having a hard time with the rear valance in my Type 3 rebuild. The vertical indentations are going to take a mountain of time to get right. It had been crushed upward and we did a fair job to get this far but I'm weighing up the cost and time of fitting another panel section if anyone has one to sell.
Here's what I mean. The area below the exposed metal where all the vertical indentations are. Hard to see but mine are a bit squashed and out of shape from the damage. The subsequent repair is a bit like a face that's had too much plastic surgury. (Not quite right)
Any how. Here's what I have.
Here's what I'm after except I need the panel full width to the bumper slots and probably a little taller if possible up to where the rear inner ducting is connected approximately where the first horizontal crease line is. (About 30-40 mm above the weld in this pic.)
