The tnt came at a cost.
Ben found this video from the 16th Dec. at Heathcote
Check out 1.25 & 3.10
These are the first & second runs.
3rd run was 102mph but had problems.
So is it new valves and seats, or pistons as well??

You gotta get those back wheels straighter Barry.... You have the same problem as I.... Too much rear camber.... Your car is a swinger right?.... The axles dont like it and your contact patch is not at optimum.... But appart from that minor detail, the car 'looks the dogs' and has a lovely note.... When you get a handle on that tune, it's really gonna sing!
Already put that right Simon while I have been waiting. Virtually square now.
Aaron, piston & a barrell also.
Got new ones coming.
And I havent even budgeted for the LM2 yet....
Good to hear.... LM2 is bigtime gear.... The DB series stuff is more than man enough IMO.... But the built in datalogging feature is an attractive one.
Mike,
yep I'm gonna try & make Sydney.
I'm planning on bringing the car regardless, if its not ready for a run, then I will not run it,
All my motor parts are here now, going to assemble this week, all measured up,
cheers
Like I suggested Barry if it's running would be a good oportunity to TnT. I'm sure there is a wealth of knowledge that can help out.
Plus plenty of people who'd like to see and hear it.
Got that O2 sensor yet?
Yeah I'm looking forward to taking it too Simon.
Thanks for the advice Stanley, havent a O2 sensor yet, however ive had a generous offer if I dont have one in time.
Thanks Ol, its been a bumpy road so far,
Daves prompted me to write a quick update following yesterdays runs at Marsh Rodders Drag Day.
I was the sole vw there on the day,
Run 1. missed second gear & tried to hit reverse, selected 4th before I found second, I then nailed it, chasing down a tri chevy, couldn't quite catch him.
1.7 60foot, 15.3sec @ 117.68mph
Run 2. again another missed gear, just once this time, up against a street rod, he didn't beat me,
1.7 60foot, 13.68 @ 121.82mph
Run 3. No missed gears this time, up against another 12 second rod, he only saw the back of my car,
1.58 60foot, 11.84 @ 126.80mph.
This is the first time its come together, was a great day, just the 3 runs.
Big thanks to Mr. David Butler on this & also to Ron Lummus who's been keeping half an eye on things also.
May come up to Warwick after all!
Epic photo Barry, I got the Warwick DVD in the mail today and I have to say you run against Ben R (on Sunday) has to be the best match up of the weekend. both you guys with your wheels up is unreal...!
