It is a very early kombi in pretty good condition. It has no rust holes underneath. The only holes on the outside are LHF lower nose panel, LH sill under side doors and front of LH quarter. There is no rust holes in the roof, inner sills, outriggers, battery tray, doors etc.
It has no back upper tailgate, and the engine lid is a big square with the spare wheel on top. The wheels are 16 inch and it has no indicators, only semaphores.
The only damage is the bottom of one of the cargo doors. The floor inside has no rust, and all inside paint is original. The outside paint is not original as the bus is originally blue, and the outside has been painted two tone red/white.

The rechroming part of the restoration is simple. 4 handles and two headlight rims. The paint stripping is the expensive part. $5000 to have it soda blasted inside and out and garnet blasted underneath.
