Some of you may be aware that myself and a colleague will be taking part in the 2013 Shitbox rally.
The Rally is a charity event for the Cancer Council.
The rally involves us buying a vehicle for under $1000 (roadworthy and registered) and driving this vehicle cross country from Adelaide to Freemantle (via Uluru) in 7 days.
I had a dream about doing the rally in an old VW. A friend found a Kombi in a paddock in NSW for $500 and told me about it. I thought it would be a good idea to spend a weekend trying to rescue it and to do that I assembled a crack team of Dubbers (Julian, Ken, Lewis, Mitch, Curtis and myself), and we did it! and these are the pics (in no particular order).....enjoy
We have to raise $4000 for the charity to qualify, so if you are feeling charitable and would like to help this rescued kombi fulfil its destiny you can donate to the cause at the following link:

Hope you enjoyed the pics, and thanks for your support 🙂
