Why don't you head down to Supercheap and see if you can find some clip-on wheel trims to give you a bit of a change, but still leave you the option of going back to how it is now. I think it looks great how it is. Color matched wheels on Beetles always look fantastic 🙂

I see a red wheel and i want to paint it black. Paint them black with a red pinstripe. F yeah.

For stock wheels, the wheel centre and inner rim should be cream; the outer rim should be body colour. You can always add white-wall tyres later.

Cheers for the replies guys.I'll probably play with some different colour combos over the next few weeks.Might go black inner and leave the red outer first.Been playing around with "beetle generator'' on my phone which helps,good little app that.

Flourescent colours seem to be cool with the boy racers at the moment.

forgot about this thread.So I painted my wheels black awhile ago now and I am pretty happy with how it looks.Love stock rims on beetles 🙂

I hope I'm not hijacking your thread mystery fang, but after all the NSW blue slip stuff was done I had a bit of fun tidying up the car, and doing fun stuff. One of the things was painting the patchy rims....so I painted them black also.
