I am about to get back into the restoration of my 71 super after a 2 year sabbatical (you know building new house, doing garden etc. etc.)

I really want a sunroof in the car , but think that shipping a steel roof clip with the wind back style is too expensive and complicated from the US.

The foldback style is what I really want, but everytime one appears on eBay, I am reluctant to take out the 3rd mortgage to buy it.

But, on the Samba today, i saw these:

Does anyone know of these and can you tell me what the quality and support from the company in Brazil is like?

They look good in the pics, but they always do.

Cheers

No, they are US$799 plus about US$150 shipping.

What I wanted to know was if any one had seen them here and what they were like, before I part with a hard earned gorilla.

they look great naturally...

and are the pleated type of vinyl sunroof...

VERY NEAT.. inside..

I saw an add for a fiberglass sunroof kit somewhere recently for a beetle..
in the USA.. I think,,

I didn't go and have a good look.. so don't know what it was like..

I just knew that the roof has to be reinforced around the edge of the hole in the roof.. was thinking that was fiberglass..??

Good LUck.. photos look great..
