I was cleaning my 2 bolt brake backing plates from the oval some time ago and I broke the little spring tab that stops the adjuster screws from turning on their own.

I am assuming that freshly cleaned and lubricated adjuster screws wont screw themselves back in even without that spring.

What do you think?

Ever heard of 'Murphy's Law' ?
I'd rather wear a Beetle out by racing it than by polishing it!

Mine fell off. I cleaned it up, and tacked it back on with ye' ol' MIG 🙂 Worked a treat.
