Has only a little rust other than the rust that has ruined the two doors (see the photos for details). Sale includes a very good passenger door in green (martini olive?), and an extra two standard size tyres with very good tread on original rims.
My plans were to fix this up for rego. However, since I bought the car I have had two operations on my lower back and I am no longer capable of the bending and sitting and pushing and pulling that you need for the general mechanical repairs of such a project. Still, the car only needs some TLC and a few $$ to get it to rego. I have used it a few times as a paddock-basher and it goes well, though currently not running.
Some of the jobs needed include:
The brakes – they are leaking somewhere. I would have replaced everything anyway.
Driver’s door.
Carby needs air filter and tune-up.
Handbrake lever needs to be fixed.
Steering wheel is crooked.
Needs an electric washer.
Has no heating or demisting.
Fuel gauge and horn don’t work.
Wipers need maintenance.
