Hi

Car belongs to John Ladomatos, he lent it to Rudi because Rudi's car car wasn't running, its a 1916, John won his bracket at VWMA Sydney drags a few years ago.

John, I notice Rudi was doing the 'right thing', by trying not to wear the tyres out. 🙅

Beaut photo, and great effort all round.👍
I'd rather wear a Beetle out by racing it than by polishing it!

Great photo, car looks well sorted, congrats on another title Rudi.
Can you tell me what struts and the spring size John has on the front?. Do you like the new A050,s. What pressure do you set them at hot.

Cheers Col

Thanks for the encouraging comments
Rear shocks are bilstein, rear torsion bar 28 mm diameter long with 16 mm Kmac sway bar
Fronts are 250 lb springs with re-built kyb struts with bilstein insert to come
Really love the A050's tyre pressure is going to vary depending on the conditions
Car has not been run on hillclimbs so not sure how adaptable these settings would be, but really works well on long and short track at Eastern Creek

Thanks for that mr curvedscreen. Agree on the ao50's,I ran mediums and had them for 2 and a half plus years then they went hard and still had a few events left in them..I'll be going softs next or avons..

Giddy up...
