hey, as i tighten the flywheel going onto the 1500 it becomes extremely hard to turn over, and when it becomes tighter i cant push it (flywheel ) into the case (this thats endplay???)

ive taken one shim out of the hole there the seal is, what is happening??

fit the flywheel to the crank with NO shims or Seals and measure the distance it mooves back n forward.

push the crank one way and measure from the outer face of the flywheel to the crankcase then push the crank the opisiteway and measure. this will give you a figure less 0.004" from that then divide the measurement by 3 and thats the size of thickness of the shims required

If its locking upo then something is WRONG dont go any futher.
I read it on FACEBOOK so it must be true

yes there are about 6 different thickness available.

You have to make up the difference with a quantity of three shims. This is to stop binding.

Make sure you tighten the wheel on first with no shims or seals in place.

Use a flat blade screwdriver and lever it out trying not to damage the soft case. You can pivot of the end of the crankshaft.
