driving up burwood hwy, and waiting to turn right onto springvale road.. the lady in a 4wd next to me wound down her window to tell me my decklid wasnt on properly "Your lid thingy isnt on properly!!!"

i had just installed a stand off kit, and it was my first drive with it on🙂 Hahahahahahahaha

I used to get the same comment in traffic lights in my L bug that had stand offs. :duh

I said I know and it's meant to be like that, then launched the little 1776 at full throttle to illustrate it was modified 😀

Had a friend tell me that once with the red L bug when i ran hood jax for the 1776.
I told her that i had a bigger motor in there and it helps with cooling.

She replied - cant you close the lid with the bigger motor now??

hehe someone pointed it out to me and i wound down the window and i said "yeah i know" in a bit of an irritated way. i must have sounded like a nazi 🙂 just got sick of ppl saying it all the damn time!
