i had an idea for a meetup in the uni and veedubs thread... really should do it in the next few weeks!
hows a wednesday evening sound? (cos its my only night off)

yes, i know its 5am on a saturday, but i have to be at work by 7:30.
I also know that less than 10 hours has passed since i was last at work, and that its illegal for me to go back again...
i also also know that i SHOULD be getting paid double-time for going back before 10 hours has passed (but im not because my boss likes doing some illegal things)...
i know all these things and yet i am awake and getting ready... why?
because little sis has decided that she cant give me a lift this morning, or indeed lend me the car, because she wants to "do stuff" (go to the beach)

*sigh* i miss my car 🙁 🙁 🙁

well ive had a grand total of 4 hours sleep... great considering i usually dont sleep at all. yet im such a lovely morning person! must be the coffee of a morning.

littlebugga i finished year 12 last year and ive decided i want to take at least one year off before i decided if im going to go to uni or not. now that ive been teaching these drama students im seriously thinking about becoming a teacher. unfortunately i dont haver the uai to go stragih there, so maybe a few years of TAFE will get me sorted.

then again...

starbug i know your pain all too well. my work has some system going where we as casuals only need 8hrs between shifts (up to 10hrs straight) and it happens quite often (work in 24hr job) so you can be at work for 16hrs of the day, getting progressively less sleep and narkier by the second.

a wednesday sounds fine for a catchup ale. i'm at uni till 8pm on wednesdays. my lecturers accent is so strong i often need a beer to cope afterwards....
