I have a 75 twin cab so they may be the same. To get to your fuel tank,remove both sectionsof the back seat +the base.
have a look under where the tray is , there should be 2 inspection plates , remove these and your tank if it the same should be there . also while you are there clean it out as dust & dirt collects there which may attract moisture then RUST
